‘Tetris The Movie’ A Fake, Yet Still Better Than A Bruckheimer Flick

April 30, 2008

TetrisBlack20.com posted a fake trailer for a live action of Tetris, depicting a dark future where men and women pilot what look like FEMA trailers falling out of the sky while crowds cheer them on in huge stadiums. All we can say is, sign us the fuck up. This looks more satisfying than any action flick Jerry Bruckheimer or Michael Bay has pulled off this decade.

Seeing as they have moved over 10 million copies of PoP games, probably best not to try something new. You can head over to the game’s official web site, but there ain’t a thing there except some placeholder graphics. Ubi will release the game for PC, all the consoles and a standalone title specifically for the DS. Stay tuned.

Matt Damon Thinks Games Are Too Violent

April 29, 2008

Matt Damon
According to a report on MTV Multiplayer, Matt Damon pulled out of lending his voice to Sierra’s upcoming release, The Bourne Conspiracy, due to the level of violence found in the game. Way to take a stance Matt! Banking a couple mil off of playing a government assassin must really give you the leisure time to build up a social conscience. 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand Trailer Released

April 28, 2008

50 Cent
If 50 Cent could pull off half the moves portrayed in the first trailer from Blood on the Sand you would be looking at the next republican president of the United States (or at the very least, the next governor of California). The G.O.P. loves a war hero and, in this case, 50 looks like a one-man version of the troop surge. Read the rest of this entry »
