mirrorsedge New Mirrors Edge Video Has Gamers Looking In The Wrong Place

thebeatles Seven Features That Should Show Up In The New Beatles Game
Yesterday Apple Corp (the company that holds the rights to the Beatles musical catalog), MTV Games and Harmonix held a press conference to announce a new, standalone game featuring the Beatles’ music that will hit during holiday 2009. It’s assumed that the game will include elements from the Rock Band franchise but concrete details were fairly scarce. The execs on the call said that the game will encompass the entire Beatles career and offer 45 original songs. They used phrases like “a celebration of [the Beatle's] legacy,” “a new exploration of their music,” and “the game is in development, we can’t answer questions about what it will be like a year from now.” Well shit guys, let us help you out. There’s no telling where the sexed up latex nun outfit ended up in the voting but it has to be close. October 30, 2008

minnie_driver_acquaphone Russian Press Release Even Better When You Read It With Russian AccentDynamic Pixels Software Group, a publisher of mobile games in Russia, issued a press release (posted after the jump) for their mobile game AquaPhone. It’s a pretty standard release. It covers the company reaching a milestone of 1M users, points out a 200% increase in revenue, blah blah blah. It doesn’t get really good until you read the release with, say Minnie Driver’s Russian accent from GoldenEye. Give it a shot and see how many internal laughs you can generate before you realize that you’re not heading up a successful mobile games company and you can’t even speak Russian much less write it.

new_xbox_experience_05 Das Gamer Reviews The New Xbox Experience
With Microsoft about to let in a heap of public beta testers to try out the New Xbox Experience (NXE) this week, I’ve gotten the chance to screw around with the Xbox 360 new dashboard make-over.
