The Onion Points Its Satire Stinkfinger At The Liberty City Police Department

Add another pop culture notch to the Rockstar bedpost. GTA IV characters already made it onto Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update segment (video after the jump). Now the Liberty City PD has an investigative feature in The Onion. The piece lays out the gripes of Liberty City residents and offers excuses for the waves of crime and violence such as limited pursuit and the deaths of 850,000 in-game officers. It’s an entertaining read but it doesn’t hold up to Kurt Beckman’s op-ed, I Fucked My Way Into This Mess, And I’ll Fuck My Way Out.
