Matt Damon Thinks Games Are Too Violent

April 29, 2008

Matt Damon
According to a report on MTV Multiplayer, Matt Damon pulled out of lending his voice to Sierra’s upcoming release, The Bourne Conspiracy, due to the level of violence found in the game. Way to take a stance Matt! Banking a couple mil off of playing a government assassin must really give you the leisure time to build up a social conscience. Speaking of portraying murder, check out our collection of videos featuring Damon killing men with semi-automatic weapons, his bare hands and dish towels.

Look closely and you can see the remorse for filming this scene from The Bourne Ultimatumflicker in Matt’s eyes at the 1:23 mark. Word to Mandy Moore for working in the fish hook.

We’re sure Matt wouldn’t approve that this clip’s violence quotient gets upped by setting it to Slipknot’s “Duality.”

In one of the last scenes from The Departed Mattie D and his boys rack up three gangland executions in under a minute!
