The competition is officially over and we have our winner. Allangviray takes home our limited edition Xbox 360, a briefcase stocked with peripherals, and a one year subscription to Xbox Live. His winning, and longwinded caption reads: “Now watch closely as I open the trunk… Whoa ho ho! And what is that, you say?! A lava lamp to lighten the mood for my ‘trunk buddies’! Clever? Ah… Yes, one might say so.”
We at DasGamer felt that the caption captured a playful, sensitive side to Niko Bellic. It portrays a side of the cold-hearted killer that says, “Yes, I stuffed you in my trunk but I want you to have a David Lynch-esque experience prior to your execution.” Either that or it’s just intimating that corpses look better when illuminated with a lava lamp. We’d buy it either way. After the bot debacle and getting (righteously) called out by at least one reader, we’re happy to see the competition come to a peaceful conclusion. Please start venting your collective bile over how we couldn’t spot a funny caption if it walked up and castrated us. Captions can’t walk people.
