Bowser Gets A Redesign

We knew it would take a German to lift the veil of cuteness surrounding the a half-dragon, half-turtle with a penchant for throwing hammers at an Italian plumber. Marcus Blättermann, a student at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, used Photoshop to paint a more realistic version of the Bowser character.
Blättermann kind of cites the realistic versions of Mario and Homer Simpson posted by Pixeloo a few weeks back as semi-inspiration for the Bowser painting. You can read more about him and his Boswer art by heading over to his blog EssenMitSosse which roughly translates into “eat with gravy.” But we can’t be sure because, unlike Marcus, we only pretend we can speak German.
