guitarherofigures Music Game Cold War Update: McFarlane Rolls Out Guitar Hero Toys
Activision has delivered it’s latest crotch shot to the Rock Band franchise in the form of four action figures based on Guitar Hero characters. Johnny Napalm, Axel Steel, God of Rock and Lars Ümlaut will storm shelves (priced between $10-$15) this November in conjunction with the release of Guitar Hero World Tour. Sadly, these things already look better than Shocker’s line of Metalocalypse figures. Dethklok, the gauntlet has been thrown. Wii Fit Accessories Bundle Now Available To Slack Jawed Idiots Everywhere

June 19, 2008

wii_fitness_ Wii Fit Accessories Bundle Now Available To Slack Jawed Idiots EverywhereWith their new accessories pack for the Wii Fit, DreamGear is betting on the fact that you’re an asshole. For $60 you can get a 5-1 pack including some extra textured socks, a “fitness mat” a travel bag and other assorted crap destined for the same fate that has befallen every Ab Roller and Thigh Master in America. The fact that Nintendo even tacitly condones this kind of accessory only adds to our theory that the Wii is an elaborate inside joke on the world. They just want to see how far they can turn you into a flailing, hopping hamster of a human being.

June 18, 2008

sony-ericsson-f305 New Sony Ericsson F350 Brings Wii-Flailing To MobileAccording to Shacknews the new F350 isn’t the first phone to employ controls based on motion sensors. But you will be able to flail wildly through the pre-loaded Bowling, Bass Fishing and Jockey (which is the only one that has a hint of double entendre) games when the F350 hits this September. Gameloft is currently working on a stable of motion-based titles that you will probably enjoy for a little while before you just go back to playing Brickbeaker. Read the rest of this entry »
