June 11, 2008

billy-mitchell Billy Mitchell: King Kong Champ, Patriot, Uber-DoucheIf you haven’t seen The King of Kong: A Fist Full of Quarters you probably can’t comprehend how a sentient pile of douche can play King Kong so well much less grow a beard. And So Begins The Stream Of Girl-In-Lingerie-Playing Wii Videos

June 11, 2008

wii-lingerie And So Begins The Stream Of Girl-In-Lingerie-Playing Wii VideosA pair of videos featuring a faceless young woman playing Wii games in her lingerie have cropped up on YouTube. Granted the concept is not completely new. We took a pair of Penthouse Pets to GDC 2008 to interview game industry execs and completely topless Wii vids have already come and gone. But this video, one of two posted by ktjones394, is a little different as it seems like it was done for the sake of good old-fashioned exhibitionism. Click the jump to watch both vids. Kimmel’s Parking Lot Security Guard Takes a Turn As Jason Bourne

June 10, 2008

It’s pretty clear Matt Damon has a sense of humor about his celebrity status and, it would appear, the video game industry. He doesn’t appear in the The Bourne Conspiracy game. Blogs cited reasons from a personal feeling that the game should have been more puzzle-based like Myst to the fact that his mother thinks games are too violent. Regardless of Damon’s reasons for taking a pass Guillermo Diaz, the parking lot security guard for the set of the Jimmy Kimmel Show, doesn’t seem to have any problems with perpetrating some video game violence. Check the footage to see what Guillermo would look like dropped into the game. Makes you wish Sierra had included him as a playable character.

In a video interview with Wall Street Journal tech wonk, Walt Mossberg, Howard Stringer, Lord of Blu-ray and the head of Sony, admitted that his crowd came close to sticking a fork in the PS3. Specifically Stringer said the PS3 was, “on life support for a while.” To his credit, Stringer speaks openly on everything from battling Apple’s iPod to taking Mossberg’s barbs about the “crapplets” Sony loads onto their line of PCs. Grace Park Doesn’t Know A Damn Thing About Robots, And It Doesn’t Matter

May 28, 2008

Not that we think a lack of robot knowledge is a problem. You could possibly debate whether or not Grace Park is America’s sexiest Cylon. Tricia Helfer is in the running, but the whole marriage thing is an added obstacle. We already have beauty, fame, and most probably a high tech home security system to overcome. Why add matrimony? Check out the video of her taking a quiz on the ‘bots of pop culture. She doesn’t exactly score many points, at least until she makes the guy doing the interview do the robot.
