1600x120016tx8 Das Review: Ninjatown For The Nintendo DS
The DS really has come into its own as a platform that has some of the most versatile and interesting games to play on it. Ninjatown, an uber-cool, top-down tower defense game, is the latest example of this.

The game, inspired by former game journalist-turned-artist Shawn Smith, tasks players with using the residents of Ninjatown—ninjas, naturally—to defend against an invasion by the evil Mr. Demon. Players can use many different types of ninjas, including average, super-strong and anti-air units, to defend against a wide variety of enemies, some that are impervious to normal attacks and others that spit fireballs as they pass. There are over 30 maps in the game to play through, each taking about 10-15 minutes to beat, which is great for a portable game; you can sit down and play it for hours or take it on the road and play short sessions. Either way, you’ll have a hard time putting this addictive game down, and you’ll want to make frequent visits to Ninjatown until you ultimately win.

  2. Great details on the players, plotting, and 30 maps will for certain keep the game interesting. The color scheme looks refreshing as well and the portability is for sure a plus.
