Ken Levine Points Stinkfinger At Suits, Britney Spears’ Gut In Same Speech
July 30, 2008
I’ll admit it. I still haven’t played Bioshock. But the critical accolades and rampant fanboyism make it clear that Ken Levine can deliver a quality game. Judging by the live blog from Levine’s keynote address at the UK-based game conference Develop, he can also deliver a pretty good speech.
So far Levine has blamed the decision to stagger the releases of Bioshock on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 as a decision made by the suits at 2K and that the rumors propagated in the press that he’s hard to work with could be worse. “It really, really hurts my wife,” he added. “But I could be Britney Spears with my gut hanging out on TMZ. It’s mild compared to that kind of stuff.” Levine has confirmed that he is involved with Bioshock 2 but is focusing instead on an as-yet unannounced original IP.

I’m more interested in the new project than the sequel/prequel to BioShock. Hopefully its something equally cool.
