Nintendo Hints At Real World Kirby Viewing, Be Afraid
September 16, 2008
Nintendo fired out a press release hinting at a “celestial event” that will occur this Thursday with peak viewing hours between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm across the eastern United States. They also released several official viewing sites for said events, all of which have the word “Kirby” somewhere in there name. While I doubt they’re turning Halolz “real Kirby” (above) into some kind of new take on Eddie the Flying Gimp there is always a small sliver of hope that someone in Japan thought it would be a good idea. Hit the jump for the official run down on “optimum” viewing locations which is probably shorthand for “closest to the flight path for one of our four Kirby-shaped hot air balloons.”
