Sony’s ModNation Racers Isn’t Just for Kids

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Sony hosted a press event to showcase the new studio for United Front Games, which has been hard at work on ModNation Racers. The new PlayStation 3-exclusive kart racer ships in spring 2010, but gamers can jump into the action early via the Beta that kicks off in December. While the game looks cute and fuzzy like the Mario Kart games, it’s anything but. There’s a ton of customization featured in this game from robust character building to fully modifiable karts. The coolest aspect of user-generated content is the track editor, which makes building a complete level of the game a snap in just a few minutes. Check out the game in action below.
