psp_225 Sonys Shuhei Yoshida Points Stinkfinger At PSP Game Development EffortsIn an interview on IGN.com UK, Sony’s president of worldwide studios, Shuhei Yoshida, expressed his disappointment in the neglect to PSP game developers. He didn’t directly call out Sony as he seemed to direct his feelings towards third-party developers that have been slow to bring new titles to the platform. In an interview with Das Gamer, Michael Pachter cited high development costs for PSP games in relation to the DS or mobile games as a barrier.

Yoshida does offer a little hope for upcoming games, stating that there are several unannounced titles coming to the PSP early next year. For the PSP’s sake Sony should probably get on their horse and start creating some hype. Yoshida only named Resistance as major upcoming title and it won’t hit shelves until next spring.
