Xbox 360 Sales Cruise To 10 Million Units

Good things happen to those who make it first to market. The delays of the PS3 launch cost Sony a lot of sales and the opportunity to send out chest thumping press releases. Microsoft announced moving 10 million Xbox 360s in the U.S. It’s a first for the next-gen console. It’s probably a milestone the original launch team thought they would see when the original Xbox almost got scrapped. And there’s no way Billy G was thinking of console gaming during this photo shoot in ‘83. All the man needs to go with that come hither look is a crackling fire and a bearskin rug.
