German Artist Takes Tabletop Gaming To A New Level

German artist Moritz Waldemeyer (viva la Deutschland!) combined his skills of mechanical, electrical and software engineering to create a series of game consoles that pull double duty as actual tables. The Pong Table, pictured above and currently on display in New York’s Museum of Modern Art is outfitted with Pong, two trackpads and 2,400 LEDs to light up the Corian tabletop. Not for nothing, but Corian fucking sucks. Leave a spaghetti sauce stain on there for too long and it’s staying for life.
