lara-croft-lead Art Student Offers Thoughtful, Introspective Discourse On Video Game T & ADaniel Floyd, a grad student at Savannah School of Art and design used a school assignment to describe the current status of sex in video games. Floyd rambles a bit (and lacks Yahtzee’s bile even though he borrows his style), but he makes some good arguments for pushing the envelope. He does a good job of spreading the blame around for the current state of sex in games between American hypocrisy and game developers playing into stereotypes. We don’t know if Nintendo deserves a specific shout for the lack of sex in current consoles. But hey, screw it, he said it, not us. Read the rest of this entry »
