The sport of MotoGP racing is still flying somewhere between Kimbo Slice and jai alai on the domestic sports radar. Not a lot of US sports fans have heard of MotoGP or know anything about the riders. Here’s two tidbits for you. A handful of guys travel the world to exotic locations, race one another on brightly colored death rockets and have Paddock Girls on hand to wait on them hand and foot. If the devastating notion that you picked the wrong career has yet to sink in, just take a moment.

Das Caption Contest, Win A Copy Of Motorstorm Pacific Rift

LittleBigPlanet isn’t the only PS3 exclusive hitting this week. If you’re more for four-wheeled (and to be fair, two-wheeled) death machines than playing with dolls, Motorstorm Pacific Rift is the way to go. Choose from several classes of vehicles including motorcycles, dune buggies, tractor trailers and monster trucks. Then, just go big. The game features sixteen tracks in all with multiple routes to pursue. If you get tired of stomping in the AI’s guts you can take it online in 20-man races. If you want stunning realism to go along with racing a tractor trailer over a volcano, the game features “real-time track deformation.” That might sound like complications from a bad smack habit, but it ain’t.

Das Caption Contest, Win A Copy Of Blitz The League II

The only football game on the market that reflects the seamier side of the NFL, Blitz The League II, hit shelves this week. Blitz II doesn’t have officially licensed NFL logos, team names or franchise NFL players. But you can make a good argument that it does a better job of representing all facets of pro pigskin that some other football titles on the market. Plus, where else can you play mini games like “jam the syringe in the lineman” or “pop in the dislocated shoulder?”

Das Gamer Caption Contest, Win A Copy Of Lego Batman

Keeping with the late afternoon run on Batman by Das Gamer, a copy of LEGO Batman for the Xbox 360 is up for grabs. The game puts you in the driver seat of the Dark Knight, albeit a small, blocky, plastic one (far better than the Val Kilmer rubber-nipple version). You also get to flip the script and play as Bruce Wayne’s various nemeses from the Penguin to the Riddler.

Last but not least, even Alfred the butler is a playable character. If you haven’t witnessed the power of his one-handed bitchslap, you should really check out the video.

If video games have taught us one thing, it’s that Germans populate this earth solely to supply the accents that clearly identify who you need to shoot at. At this points even Germans know to pull the trigger at the sound of the first Achtung! There’s a copy of Ubisoft’s newest shooter, Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway for the Xbox 360 up for grabs. The title puts gamers in the middle of Operation Market Garden, an ambitious plan to decimate the Nazis by Christmas. Think of it as a gift for Uncle Sam.
