Citing a two-year turnaround time a spokesperson at Epic stated that Gears 2 will not roll out a demo build to whet the appetite for those looking for a little chainsaw gun 2.0. Seeing as there’s a Gears of War comic book, Gears of War action figures and a Gears of War movie all in the works it really doesn’t make any sense to waste time building something intended to give away free of charge before the sequel’s release in November.
