NECA has announced their new Ninja Gaiden 2 Ryu Hayabusa action figure. It’s not really breaking news but the articulated forearms and feet does remind us of the original entertainment-based arms race that actually revolved around arms: the Kung Fu grip. These days with the console wars, the escalating battle to fill American living rooms with music game peripherals…it’s nice to think of a kinder, gentler time when Snake Eyes and Duke would while away the hours fighting Cobra Commander and wondering what kind of panties the Baroness was wearing under all that leather. www.necaonline.com
