There Are More Video Game-Based Comics Than You’d Think

MTV Multiplayer has put up a compendium of comics based off of video games. They list 31 titles with a rundown on each title. If you don’t remember such classics as Atari Force or Adventures of the Super Mario Bros., don’t worry. You probably weren’t alive. Since we’re talking comics this seems like the spot to mention that Nintendo will spice up their WiiWare offerings with comic distribution but only in Japan. As pointed out by Se Ajala over at ThatVideoGameBlog, Nintendo needs to shore up the Wii’s onboard memory shortage to make the most of downloadable content.

Nintendo Points Stinkfinger At Nyko

According to a report on Bloomberg, Nintendo is taking Nyko to court citing trademark infringements in the design of Nyko’s wireless Kama Nunchuk. In their suit filed on June 10, Nintendo stated that the Nyko “wholly appropriates the novel shape, design, overall appearance and even the color and materials used in the Nintendo Nunchuk controller.” Nyko’s official statement at this point seems to be, “sorry.” Which translates into buy one of these fuckers right now. if you want one. Supplies probably won’t get replenished.

Forbes Calls GTA IV A Kick In The Wii’s Nuts

Grand Theft Auto has fueled the standard controversy babble from the pulled ad campaigns to politicians screaming out about the lack of morality, and even MADD.
