Nintendo Points Stinkfinger At Nyko

June 13, 2008

wl-nunchuck Nintendo Points Stinkfinger At NykoAccording to a report on Bloomberg, Nintendo is taking Nyko to court citing trademark infringements in the design of Nyko’s wireless Kama Nunchuk. In their suit filed on June 10, Nintendo stated that the Nyko “wholly appropriates the novel shape, design, overall appearance and even the color and materials used in the Nintendo Nunchuk controller.” Nyko’s official statement at this point seems to be, “sorry.” Which translates into buy one of these fuckers right now. Nintendo Points Stinkfinger At Nyko if you want one. Supplies probably won’t get replenished.

The Wii ‘Chuck Goes Wireless

May 06, 2008

87027-wl-nunchuck The Wii Chuck Goes Wireless
Nyko has shipped their Kama Wireless Nunchuck for the Wii. The specs claim you can use it as far as 15 feet away from a linked Wii Remote. But Nyko didn’t give a good reason why you’d want to. The unit runs off of triple A batteries and will set you back for $35. You’ve thrown your Wii controller like a deadly, white bolo for the last time. www.nyko.com
