Weezer, Pixies Hit Rock Band Next Week

Even if you don’t see eye to eye with Rivers Cuomo on the merits of Vipassana meditation you can still take his spot fronting for Weezer. Three new tracks from their eponymous new album will hit Rock Band via Xbox Live (June 24) and PlayStation Network (June 26) next week: “Dreamin,’” “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived,” and “Troublemaker.” Keeping the alt-rock DLC theme going, gamers will also get a chance to download the entire Pixies album, Doolittle. Sounds like solid proof that there is a large contingency of gamers over 30 jamming on plastic instruments in living rooms across America.
