I would be what you would call a casual World of Warcraft player. I have one level 70 character – an Alliance female mage – and a few alts that I really could give two shits about. After I hit 70 I screwed around with the PvP Battlegrounds stuff for quite a while, but stopped questing, and I wasn’t going to do raid after raid after raid to have a chance in hell to get one piece of good gear. Especially when once Blizzard drops their next expansion for World of WarcraftWrath of the Lich King – all your top gear is going to be crap compared to what you’ll be able to get when you progress past level 70. D3 Publisher’s latest release, Bangai-O Spirits, has more facets than you would expect for a typical DS game. Product manager Sam Guilloud showed off some of the features that separate Bangai-O from a lot of games on the market, including the ones that come on discs instead of carts.

An odd concept on paper has seemingly turned into one of the most exciting titles I got my hands on at E3. Even though there is combat, just as in the art of Parkour, the main goal of Mirror’s Edge is to get from point A to point B in the safest and most efficient way possible. Hands On Time With Too Human

July 02, 2008

With a botched initial E3 showing to going more or less underground this past March, Silicon Knights has finally released a preview build of their upcoming action/RPG Too Human. Getting to play a quick demo version of the game during GDC isn’t always the easiest way to tackle a deep experience such as Too Human, so I put the preview version through its paces in both single player and cooperatively to see how well Silicon Knights has progressed.
