Epic’s Rod Fergusson Explains What Makes Gears Of War 2 Casually Hardcore

While Cliff Bleszinski is the face of Epic Games and Gears of War 2 in the media Rod Fergusson, the game’s producer, is the man responsible for making sure Gears 2 makes it into your hands on time. A 10-year Microsoft games vet, Fergusson moved to Raleigh, NC three years ago to produce Gears of War 2 as an Epic employee. Fergusson took some time to talk with Das Gamer during Epic’s Gears 2 preview in San Francisco to talk about the new title, developing games as platforms instead of one off experiences and the fleshy objects standing in the way of user-generated content on the Xbox 360.
