Seth MacFarlane Pimps Out Mario In Order To Move Some Whoppers

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has crossed over into advertorial work, creating a series of Burger King sponsored shorts hosted on YouTube. The shorts are pretty standard issue Family Guy vignettes, only with lead ins from Burger King mascot, The King. One of the first vids features Mario and the Princess negotiating some reward for the rescue. It’s pretty doubtful that Shigeru Miyamoto ever pictured Mario saying, “You got kidnapped by something that goes in a salad,” to the Princess much less the line getting used to move hamburgers. Eh, it’s no stranger than the eat a Whopper like an anaconda ad. Check the Mario video after the jump.
