“Show me your money, bitches!” Even if there wasn’t a virtual 50 Cent pictured on the screen you’d know the voice. That particular phrase, one of many taunts built in the game and voiced by 50 Cent, came out after Curtis hosed down some terrorist-stereotypes with a 50-caliber machine gun. During Sierra’s press event yesterday I got a tour of the latest “alpha candidate” build of Blood on the Sand, Sierra’s upcoming sequel to 50 Cent’s last game, Bulletproof. Producer Aaron Blean described the action on the screen while associate producer Tim Tran handled the controls. And yes, it looks a hell of a lot better than the original. Kimmel’s Parking Lot Security Guard Takes a Turn As Jason Bourne

It’s pretty clear Matt Damon has a sense of humor about his celebrity status and, it would appear, the video game industry. He doesn’t appear in the The Bourne Conspiracy game. Blogs cited reasons from a personal feeling that the game should have been more puzzle-based like Myst to the fact that his mother thinks games are too violent. Regardless of Damon’s reasons for taking a pass Guillermo Diaz, the parking lot security guard for the set of the Jimmy Kimmel Show, doesn’t seem to have any problems with perpetrating some video game violence. Check the footage to see what Guillermo would look like dropped into the game. Makes you wish Sierra had included him as a playable character.

Looking for twice the cheap thrills and at least 98% less regret than hunting zebra on a Texas wild game safari? Assault Heroes 2 is now up and running on Xbox Live, yours for 8000 Microsoft points. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we should be covering Gears of War 2 and all the other titles getting announced for the pre-E3gasm. But this is probably the best new game you’re going to play this week. It’s certainly the only top-view shooter that pits you against a giant robotic carp. Plus we’ve got some more Gears coverage coming up later.
