Gametrailers has a fairly long interview with the Tekken 6 dev team as well as some video from the game. Whoever is running the show asks a lot of leading questions in favor of the Xbox 360. It seems like the guys don’t rise to the bait but you can’t get a good feel for their reactions since the producers used Iron Chef-style voiceovers for the interview to translate from Japanese. A report by GameEX magazine quotes Tekken developer Haruki Suzaki on the subject of PS3 exclusivity for Heihachi Mishima and company, “No, it hasn’t been determined at this moment.” Tekken 6 should hit this holiday. Which systems it appears on is up for grabs. Say what you will about the “console wars.” With the life cycle of the current hardware going as far as eight years out, software is the real battleground for the big three.
