The latest trailer for Ubisoft’s upcoming Wii exclusive, Tenchu 4, shows off the close and silent kill capabilities featuring Rikimaru versus samurai after anonymous samurai. I’ll just call him Steve. Hit the jump to watch Rikimaru break Steve’s neck in a different ways. There’s also a quick drowning and Rikimaru even uses Steve-o’s own sword to carve open that hairy chest and spill his samurai innards all over the floor. The latest installment of Tenchu will stealthily creep onto shelves in early 2009 according to the latest news from Ubisoft. The publisher released some new screens from the American version. ninja-nut-punt Tenchu 4 Trailer Adds Groin Punting To Your Ninja ArsenalThe latest game trailer from Tenchu 4, in development by Acquire for the Wii, features one of the main characters Ayame letting an enemy samurai know what’s up with swift kick to the nuts. And really, it does beg the question why more martial arts movies don’t feature at least one swift one to the spondoolies? It’s effective, fun to watch and makes more sense than Ayame’s other new move: taking a kitten out of her ninja bag and shaking it.

The on-screen icons hint at a Wiimote-only control scheme and Satoru Iwata recently stated that Nintendo was just about done with making peripherals. But this seems like a chance is there room for a Wii nut-crunchin’ boot? You can store it under your new drum kit.
