Hollywood has announced its latest attempt at cashing in on a popular video game franchise. Turok will go into production starring Adam Beach (Flags of Our Fathers, Special Victims Unit) as the eponymous dino hunter. He already provides the voice of Turok for the games, now he gets to perform some live action, or at least act in front of a green screen. Normally we would give the flick a decent chance at success since Turok started off as a comic book rather than simply a video game. Since the original comic debuted in the early 1950s, it’s a push.
