thaichildren Thai Government Bans Five More Games, Child Muay Thai Fights Still Totally CoolAccording to a story on GamePolitics, the Thai Ministry of Culture has dropped the ban hammer on five game titles: Hitman, 300, Killer Seven, Hitman: Blood Money, and Fifty Cent: Bullet Proof. The Thai government recently banned sales of Grand Theft Auto games in the wake of an incident in which a 19-year old Thai boy killed a cab driver and told police allegedly in order to re-enact a scene from GTA IV

Technology Thailand writer Jesada Chandraprasert posted an article outlining the newly banned games. According to his report the Thai government is looking to curb online gaming as well as the sales of games they find questionable. A ministry press release stated that the Thai government finds gaming to be, “a problem which is obsessive and has an (adverse) effect on the behavior of children and teens…”.

But don’t worry, Thai officials are sticking to their loose grip on the sex trade. And sticking a couple of seven year olds into the ring for some bitchin’, full-contact Muay Thai action is still looked upon as a character building experience.
